About Me
Thanks for dropping by. I’ve spent more than half my life in the south of England but, at heart, I’m a northern soul. Born in Liverpool, I grew up in Wales, studied in Manchester and after a spell in London working as an actor, I now live in Brighton with my carpenter:musician husband and ginger sons. My mum’s maiden name is Burrows and to honour her and the memory of my grandma, I write historical fiction as Laura Burrows. I’ve published two spicy romances (under a pseudonym) and, as Laura Wilkinson, five contemporary novels. The most recent is That Night In New York, which was published in September ‘24. The others are: Crossing the Line, Skin Deep, Redemption Song and The Family Line. What do all my books have in common? Emotional, compelling stories, fascinating characters, love and hope, and ideas that make you think a little. At least I hope so!
